Please find our Grading information here.
Why are your prices somewhat different from the published price guides?
A comics values is based on its condition, desirability and scarcity, all of which must assessed. Unfortunately price guides don’t necessarily take into account all factors.
If a comic isn’t already slabbed it will include one of our high quality bags and boards and this is taken into account when we price each comic. As a small family business, we must also remain viable and be able to cover our overhead costs, such as warehousing, labour, packaging etc along with shipping and Certified valuation expenses.
Why don't you have images of the actual comic on each listing?
We have many copies of the same comic in a similar condition, we are therefore unable to photograph or scan each individual comic. In many cases we will use a standard cover image for our listing, particularly for those comics valued under $25. If you would like an image of the actual comic you wish to purchase, please contact us with details including the condition of your intended purchase.
Would you be interested in purchasing my collection?
Yes, however due to our already crazy amount of stock and very little storage space, we are very selective about what we would be interested in purchasing. Saying that, we would be interested in Golden Age and Silver Age Comics pre-1980 and any special items you may have. Please go to the contact page on our website and submit a detailed list including grades based on our Grading guidelines along with a price you wish to receive. Please note we would likely pay between 25-50% of the current market value depending on the comic and its condition.
