Ra’s al Ghul’s underworld court reconvenes to hear the Riddler claim credit for killing Batman. The Riddler says he can now send his riddles to Batman’s grave, then recounts disguising himself as Bruce Wayne to steal a platinum-ivory typewriter from Stefan Niros, luring Batman to a quarry, trapping him under masonry and supposedly blowing him up with a lantern set on dynamite. Prosecutor Two-Face demolishes the story by tying the Riddler beside burning dynamite and showing that dynamite does not explode from fire, only from percussion or electrical shock. The claim is thrown out and Ra’s al Ghul fines the Riddler $25,000 for damage to the estate. Court adjourns until Lex Luthor’s testimony.
