• January 1945. Captain America and Bucky are sent to watch Bruce Wayne over the secret Gotham Project atomic bomb. Batman and Robin are already after the Joker, who is stealing for the Red Skull. Steve Rogers, posing as Wayne’s bodyguard, fights Bruce, they recognise each other and team up. The Joker turns on the Skull when he learns he is a Nazi. Both villains go into the sea with the falling bomb. Twenty years later Dick Grayson, now Batman, and Bruce Wayne Jr. as Robin recover frozen Captain America from the North Atlantic.
