Before the Justice League of America, there was the Justice Society of America, DC's first and foremost super-hero team. Reprinted here are the original tales from the 1940s when the original Flash, Green Lantern, Spectre, Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Hourman, Sandman, Atom and Johnny Thunder decide to join forces against threats that were too great for them to face alone. Setting the standard for super-heroes teams forever, these early adventures are reprinted exactly as they appeared over 60 years ago. Looking back at a time when the JSA fought for simple truths such as America and Democracy.
