Gotham wants Batman locked up for the supposed murders of Talia and Ra’s al Ghul. Jack Ryder says so on air, then goes out as the Creeper to bring him in. Batman finds Ra’s coffin empty. Alfred traces lion hair on the “suicide” gun to Gotham Zoo. Assassins interrupt the Creeper–Batman fight, the Creeper buys the frame-up story, and they team up. Continues in #448.
