Key Facts: A rare wartime songbook collecting sheet music and lyrics from Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphony cartoons. Includes popular tunes such as “Who Killed Cock Robin?”, “Somebody Rubbed Out My Robin”, “In Town To-Night”, and others. Printed in England with decorative borders and character illustrations throughout the 28 pages (estimated from visible spreads). This is a scarce English edition of the more common USA edition.
Condition:
- Binding & Spine: The outer cover spine is heavily split, particularly along the lower half.
- Interior Pages: The interior text block (pages 3 through 22) is completely detached from the cover staples due to natural age-related rust/oxidation at the staple points.
- The Positives: The book is 100% complete with all 32 pages accounted for. Crucially, it is completely free of clear tape or amateur adhesive repairs, leaving the paper uncompromised.
- Paper Quality: The internal pages are remarkably clean with no heavy ink annotations, scribble marks, or major liquid stains. The historic colour illustrations on the front cover and the interior black/yellow panels remain sharp and vibrant.
- Features a personalised Christmas 1943 inscription.
