Key Facts: This is the fourth issue of the early Batman Annual series, an 80-page giant reprint collection featuring exclusively Sheldon Moldoff ghosted stories (the only annual in the series to do so). It includes the landmark story "The First Batman," which reveals key details about the Wayne murder and introduces Lew Moxon. The issue also marks the first appearance of Batwoman (Kathy Kane) in reprint form. This issue features full colour interiors (uncommon for Batman Annuals of this era, which were often black and white inside). Standard comic size, saddle-stitched binding. Part of DC's early 1960s giant annual format.
