A Young Man Finds Himself Seduced by the Dangerous City of Samaris; The Great Walls of Samaris is the first story in the Cities of the Fantastic series. A world of cities and civilisations stunningly rendered and imaginatively written by two top European artists. Franz is hired by the committee of his city, Xhystos, to investigate the disappearance of many of Xhysto's citizens in the nearby city of Samaris. Once he arrives at Samaris, he finds himself obsessed with the beauty and splendour of the city. But what he finds out about the city's inhabitants is most shocking and leaves him fearing for his life...
This is the first instalment of one of the central masterpieces of the Franco-Belgian comic tradition – a series by François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters known as the Cités obscures.

Our story: This is my father's "The Hoarder's" private comic, toys, memorabilia and collectables collection he's been amassing for over 65 years.
