Ten days after Quicksilver goes missing in the Sentinels arc, a distraught Scarlet Witch monitors for leads and finds a news report of scientists kidnapped by strange attackers in Chile. Black Panther rejoins the team after an adventure with Daredevil. The Avengers (including Thor, accompanied by visiting Asgardians like Sif) travel to Chile, discover tunnels leading to the Savage Land, and battle the Savage Land Mutates (Beast-Brood). Lorelei entrances most of the team with her song, but Vision defeats them. Hints at Magneto and X-Men involvement. Focus on Scarlet Witch's concern for her brother and her relationship with Vision.
