The Zodiac crime cartel returns with a new lineup and advanced technology, using Gemini's psychic link to his twin brother to assault the Avengers at their mansion. The villains plan to use a death-star blaster to eliminate everyone in New York born under a specific zodiac sign as part of their world domination plot. The Avengers fight off the initial attack but pursue the Zodiac to the World Trade Center, where the villains threaten Mantis, forcing hesitation. The story continues into the next issue. Bronze Age key issue under Steve Englehart's run, reintroducing and expanding the Zodiac as a major threat with new members and tech. Editor: Roy Thomas.
