Key Facts: This is the second annual of The New Teen Titans. The story "The Murder Machine" introduces the Vigilante (Adrian Chase) and the assassin Cheshire. It also features the first physical appearance of Lyla Michaels (who later becomes Harbinger) and a cameo by the Monitor. The Teen Titans protect Judge Adrian Chase from the mafia while being attacked by assassins hired by the Monitor. George Pérez provided the plot and layouts, with Marv Wolfman scripting. This issue is a key Pre-Crisis story and an important lead-in to later events. Full color interiors.
