Key Facts: This is an issue from the short-lived Australian original comic series "The Raven," created, written, and drawn entirely by Paul Wheelahan. The series features Lord Ashley (the Seventh Earl of somewhere in England), a masked fugitive nobleman condemned to life beyond the law, living in a crumbling castle on bleak moors while battling crime and injustice (inspired by classic pulp/hero tropes like The Phantom or Zorro). Published by Young's Merchandising Co. (Sydney-based, known for local heroes like Yarmak Jungle King and The Panther). It ran for 10 issues from approximately February/July 1962 to November 1962 (or into early 1963), ending due to the publisher's closure after Charles Young's death in 1963. Features black-and-white interior art (newsprint paper), color cover (likely matte), saddle-stitched binding, standard comic size, and adventure/mystery genre stories.
