Key Facts: This is an issue from the long-running Australian original comic series "The Shadow" (not the American pulp character by Walter B. Gibson/Maxwell Grant). The series began in 1950 under Frew Publications (created, written, and drawn by Jeff Wilkinson for the first 12 issues; later by Peter Chapman from #13 onward). It transitioned to Tricho Pty. Ltd. around #77 (1961) and continued through the early 1960s with original content by Chapman in many issues. Features black-and-white interior art (line art by Chapman), matte color cover, saddle-stitched binding, standard comic size, and detective-mystery genre for the main 22-page story. Includes a 1-page advertisement (for The Sampson School of Music). The series ran to #168 (late 1966), one of Australia's longest-running comic titles. #99 falls in the Tricho era (1961–1967) with approximate monthly releases.

Our story: This is my father's "The Hoarder's" private comics, toys, memorabilia and collectables collection he's been amassing for over 65 years. We are guesstimating somewhere in the vicinity of half a million comics + the rest of the collectables, ALL of which are to be sold. While we are somewhat aware of certain acquisitions, there is an abundance of anticipation and excitement of the yet to be discovered, we would love you to join us on our journey which is only just beginning...
